EXPERIENCE

• Acquired knowledge of vital airplane features and their design, manufacture and purpose
• Conducted analysis into the angles of airfoils and the forces in action during flight
• Researched the development of new sustainable technologies, including hydrogen and electric power, and biomimicry
• Inspired by Airbus' future plane concepts to write a research paper titled: "How Can Biomimicry Help Engineers Achieve a More Sustainable Future for the Aviation Industry?"

• Worked with each main sub team (Design, Vehicle UI, Powertrain, Body, Electrical and Software, Chassis, Manufacturing) and gained an in depth understanding of their inner workings
• Gained knowledge in concepts such as electrification, battery design, user experience, PCDS, gateways, AVA, ECU, SOTA, Infotainment, ADAS, DFMEA, MATLAB and more

• Placed 5th in the World Finals (out of 43 teams) & 3rd Fastest Car Star Portfolio Award, Best Presentation Award
• Placed 1st in the UK National Finals & Fastest Car Award
• Lead the engineering of the model F1 car to be raced at competitions
• Implemented key engineering dynamics and aerodynamic principles
• Used Fusion 360 CAD software, CFD virtual wind tunnel testing, physical testing methods, 3D printing and CAM software
• Created a sponsorship proposal strategy that landed sponsorship from Ferrari, Mastercard, Accenture, Ansys, Rokos Capital Management, ASOS and more

• Placed 1st (out of 850 entries)
• Designed a mechanical, low cost, and sustainable solution to help farmers plow their soil, aimed to tackle the prevalent issue of agricultural poverty
• Won an all-expenses-paid trip to Silicon Valley to participate in workshops with entrepreneurs in a variety of fields
• Presented the innovation at TEDx Atlanta 2020
• Hired as a Moonshot Pirates Young Advisor (from over 50 applications) to regularly meet with the CEO and leadership team to discuss growth strategies and event planning for the organization

• Responsible for the manufacturing process of essential car body parts e.g. front and rear wings, nose cone, duct
• Gained 6hr/week experience into conducting carbon fiber and epoxy resin layups and advanced hot wire cutting
• Conducted airfoil mount stress testing to test the strength of the fiber glass mount structure

• Selected amongst 80 applicants to partake in a gateway leadership program for dedicated Freshmen and Sophomores
• Assisted the Officer Council and Executive Board in promoting SWE's mission and planning events for members
• Engaged in community, fundraising and professional events to help inspire young women into STEM careers
